The majority of the disliked words were the words that were used in the wrong context. The taboo words were also not popular because of the meanings behind them, I noticed that the female offensive words were the words that were disliked the most. Whereas for food the words were disliked out of taste, not the way the word is pronounced or the way the word sounds when spoken, asides from gravy, gravy was the only food word that was disliked because of the sounding. As for the adjectives they were the most liked words in the class for many reasons such as sounding and meaning.
Good overview. You could explore your examples further e.g. look closely at how 'gravy' might seem unappealing (e.g. because of the connotations of 'grave' or the way the sounds/phonemes work together to form off-putting mouth shapes like the disgusted look you make when you say grr (same as urgh)).
